Climate is drastically changing in India. One of the main reasons is traffic, industrialization, and population explosion. In order to control pollution the environmental scientist needs to make maps and by analyze them. Data collection is one of the major hurdles faced in any kind of research work. The data and the time constraints affect the quality and the accuracy of the result. Remote sensing techniques like LIDAR work on different wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum hence can detect particles of peculiar quality. This paper will reflect on various sources of collecting air pollutants where by using different type of remote sensing data.
