Countries all over the world are operating on their own domain ignoring the plight of global pollution. Although many countries recognize the need for reducing global environmental pollution, very few are taking any actions other than blaming each other. This paper leads the path by developing a framework for an universal environmental quality standard which may be implemented slowly and steadily to reduce global environmental pollution.

Dr. Bandyopadhyay is a Professor at Central Michigan University, U.S.A. He teaches and conduct research in areas of Quality and Productivity management. He is the Founding Father of International Society for Quality and Productivity Management and the Managing Editor of The International Journal of Quality and Productivity Management. He is the author of QS-900 Handbook, and he has published numerous research papers on Quality and Productivity Management in scholarly journals.
