Climate Change, Health and Natural Resource: With Special Reference to its Impact on Women in India
It is immaterial to mention that women form the most vulnerable section in Indian Society. The social conditions prevalent in India has been very harsh to this gender, As a result of which the Climate Change in India has also effected them the most. This paper attempts to study how they get more effected by this man made calamity. Climate change has adversely affected the natural resources. The recent cyclone Nargis in Burma or Myanmar is an apt example. The causes of it can be traced back to the Climate change that is taking place. This paper attempts to put forth some suggestions that can be taken up in order to get rid of the problem of which public awareness place a very important.
